WHY DID MY AC COMPRESSOR STOPPED WORKING AFTER PULLING AND CHECKING FUSES UNDER THE DASH AND OUT UNDER THE HOOD??
FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE GUYS WHO HELPED ME WITH THE EGR PROBLEM IT TURNS OUT THAT THE VALVE WAS BAD JUST REPLACED IT ON SAT. AND NOW IT RUNS GREAT.. NOW I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE AC I WAS LOOKING FOR A BLOWN FUSE IN THE FUSE PANEL UNDER THE DASH I PULLED EACH FUSE OUT AND LOOKED AT IT TO SEE WHICH ONE WAS BLOWN. FOUND THE BAD ONE REPLACED IT NOW THE AC COMPRESSOR WON'T COME ON WHEN I TURN ON AC OR DEFROSTER. ANY IDEAS WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED?? THANK YOU BILL W..

If it failed once, it can fail again if you do not fix the problem that caused the failure. It is rare that a fuse will be the cause of a problem as it is usually. It can be that the A/C is cycling too much because of a low freon charge.
