Many web site are NOW banning IE11 (the beginning of the end, quote W. Churchill) IE6 to 10 were long ago banned, banks first banned them all now all, versions OF IE> IE11 is doomed. (I see MS just sent out last warnings on this) just get Firefox, run that, it's free, and is way more safe. or upgrade to w10 and run Edge, but only 6 % like it, its not very good, but is secure. Edge not friendly as most say, s FF has the best extension on earth and very powerful, for sure spy protections and blacklisted bat sites.
For decades we called it Internet Explod'er' omg it did, ! and by MS direct actions is doomed and now dead.
IE 11 and Windows 8.1 both have several glitches. Might I suggest doing the Windows 10 upgrade? You SHOULD be able to do the free upgrade to 10 as Microsoft is allowing upgrades from Windows 7 and up. In the meantime, I would try and use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome as they are more stable than IE 11.
