Why do I have heat coming out of AC vents when AC is turned on???
I did a diagnostic on the climate control head and got a code 024 which means the blend door actuator is bad I replaced the part and all was working great. I did another diagnostic on the climate control to see if there were and codes NO CODES then I put on the AC and got hot air what happened.. Thankyou Bill W.

Low freon. Bad pressure switch, or compressor is bad.
The compressor is running the AC lines are cold and I just replaced the blend door actuator and I'm still getting hot air when I turn on the AC..
I would check to see if the blend door was actually working. I plug them in and check before installing them. If you can see it working in the plenum, Then the plenum door needs replaced. If it isn't working, it could be wiring or the controller. I just tore apart a controller the other day. Bad connection on a plug inside it. I could command the door to work with my computer, but it wouldn't work from the controller.
