Why do my weiser smart key locks turn to the 3 o'clock position?
The cylinder in Weiser smart locks in this one particular house has this problem of being turned to the 3 o'clock position. They have many door knobs and I have replaced some of them a few times. Sometimes after a few days of use. It is a residential home for developmentally challenged people. However, only management has keys. Weiser will not warrantee them and I don't have the funding for full replacements and new keys. So the question is, what is being done to the locks that puts them in a permanent 3 o'clock position. Not one person claims to have seen it happen. They come down to open the door and it is messed up like this. Then, I have to go over to open the door and replace the lock. Weiser claims I am the only person in their entire claims that has this problem. Any advice is appreciated.

I looked at the Weiser site and although it describes the method of re-keying the locks it doesn't make it clear whether the key can be removed in the 3 o'clock position without the learning tool being inserted.
If the key can be removed in that position it would seem it would only need the key to be reinserted and the lock turned back, though somehow I doubt it as that would rather defeat the object and mean you wouldn't have to keep changing the locks.
Whatever the cause is, it would seem either one of the staff or one of the residents is having a game with you, perhaps they have seen this youtube video...

Yeah I chose that lock system because of the ease in which to re key them. I have learned a lot about them and have the tools weiser created for them. They do claim that the key cannot be removed in the 3 'o'clock position. That is my experience as well. I have been, on occasion, able to remove the cylinder and straighten it out. But then that lock fails again. I just dont understand why weiser would tell me I am the only one that has ever had this problem.
Interesting how many views that video has had - 1,210,030 views and there are other videos covering the same or similar subjects. Clearly you can't expect Weiser to tell the truth as that would be like admitting liability. Telling the truth would or could be corporate harakiri.
