An engine needs three things to run. !. fuel. 2. Spark. 3. Air. First check to see if you have spark by pulling one of your spark plugs and with the wire on it ground the sparking tip (bottom) of the plug to a metal part of the motor and crank engine. If no spark check coil. If you have spark check to make sure your getting gas into the carb. or fuel rail . Could be a bad fuel pump. Last but not least make sure your air intake and exhaust are clear of any obstructions. a plugged exhaust system can cause a no start.

possible plugged fuel filter i recommend changing both at same time
do i have to remove the tank to replace the fuel pump?

when i spray gas into the throttle body the engine will start and run.
