Why does my new 500gb lacie setup say 375.7 MB, Zero free?
During set-up, the Lacie set-up icon states Set-up is 375.7 MB, 0 Free. Does this mean there is already data on the hard drive that will be deleted during formatting?

I think this is the setup disk, your 500gb disk will have have hundreds of gigabytes of free space, remember that 375.7 MB is roughly a third of 1 gigabyte.
