I set my washing machine to run a programme that should have taken well over an hour. However, when I checked up on it the washer had apparently progressed through the full cycle very quickly. The programmme dial showed that the cycle had completed, and allowed me to open the door, but when I did there was still water inside. I tried running the programme again, but this time after the drum had stopped filling, nothing happened. Now I can't get any programme to function and have had to remove my soaking clothes and catch the flood of water in a bucket. What could be causing this? I have a feeling that it is something to do with the filter or drainage pipe, but I'm not sure. Thanks.
