Why is my dog suddenly wanting to lay on my lap?
I like to answer questions here on Fixya, however, I have one of my own. I have a labadoxie and had him for 10 yrs.. He will be 15 in December. He is eating, and going as normal and nose is cold, nothing out of the ordinary except the temps. here is Vegas are in the 110's. I keep the apartment as cold as possible around 70 degrees. We are both warm.

There are many theories about this.
My best guess is that he knows his end is near.
Give him comfort and maybe a checkover at the vet (blood test etc - but don't leave him all alone there) and see if it is temporary.
All the best to you and your friend. I recall being in Vegas when it was 104 out on the Strip at 8pm. We thought Vegas was amazing, unique.
I was actually thinking about that, however he is playing and running. I do appreciate your answer and I do have an appt. for him on the 28th so we'll see. I thank you.
