Why is my microphone not working?
My microphone on my new logitec webcam will not work properly. When I am testing it, my voice is heard for a couple of seconds then loud static. Can you please help me figure it out? Why is this happening?

I wasted so much time and became so frustrated that I had to invest another 30 dollars in a logitec headset with microphone. I am still disappointed with the webcam mic and am frustrated that I had to pay more money, but at least it works.
