Why is there a very loud knocking sound in my 2000 camry engine?
It has 168k miles. It stolled in traffic. I restarted it later and now it has a very loud knocking sound in the engine.

The short answer is there is something loose or broken inside the engine.
Someone will need to narrow down where the noise is coming from and then the actual source. The engine may have to be disassembled to find out.
