Why keyless entry system does not work?
I bought a 2005 Dakota but the remote does not open the doors and the alarm is not working. I already check the remote and put new battery.

Take it back to the garage where bought for them to fix!
The black contacts wear and can get dirty...cheapest check is to buy the replacement case only... at your auto parts store...this comes with new buttons (black contacts)...about $14.99...has worked for me, hope you have the remote guts that came with your Dakota...:) Insert your guts into the new case using the new buttons with your old circuit board in the new case.
