Why when I couldn't start my toro 6.5 gts lawn mower with tecumsuh engine,I sprayed carb cleaner into carb and it started but smoked and knocked. what caused this problem?
Bob if you spray carb cleaner in and it started that is a sign of not getting fuel. but if it is smoking and knocking you have a bad outlook for that engine. did you hit anything with the blades while mowing that caused it to stop suddenly? did you tip it on its side as the oil may have run in the carburetor. that can cause the smoking. does it have to much oil in it?
