Why would the alarm give a 1 one second beep when power goes off for short time?
This a smoke and co detector. Don't remember this happening before, don,t think it has replaceable back up battery. Don't see exact picture in model choices.

In all likelihood it does have a backup battery. Check the manufacturer's website for more info on your model.
