Wii i have wii dancing stage hottest party game , but cannot see where to connect lead on the dance mat ,any ideas? do i need to buy a connector?

If the plug on the dance mat is round, plug it into the side of the Wii in one of the ports pictured below.
Now, if the plug on the mat looks like the one below then you have purchased the Playstation version and it can not be used with the Wii.
