I honestly wouldn't recommend it... they are stabe down to 2 ohms... once you drop below the stable load some amplifiers will run but the components inside the amplifier were setup for the lowest recommended load.. Most will not even operate at a load below their recommended. But if you do attempt it, and it does still play, it will go into protection a lot, it may give you solid performance but you are destroying your amp and it is almost guaranteed to fry and because you had it wired inproperly it will not be covered in the warranty if there is one.
