Will not scan. Scanner hardware is unlockedl
I have a visioneer onetouch 8920. It has worked ok up to now. It now will not operate. I get an error message saying that I need to unlock the scanner hardware. I have unlocked the scanner hardware and I still get the same error message. What do I need to do?

I don't know what your electronics skill level is, but if you feel up to it, try taking the scanner apart and using a jumper wire to close the circuit so that the scanner is permanently unlocked. At least on a scanner this old you do not need to worry about voiding any warranty...
