Will not switch on
My tv has both red and green lights on when you switch it on but all you get is a clicking noiseJust watching the tv one night , then the picture format decreased and then the picture disappeared...just likethat.
Tried to contact Precision TV repair who was recommended by Magnolia Audio Video who sold me the set 7 years ago. The person from Precision TV showed up and after 15 minutes, said the the parts are no longer available and I should buy a new TV. Tried to contact Panurgy OEM in NJ for parts, but no results yet...just left a message. Is it true that parts a longer being sold here in the US.
This experience is really aggravating especially when Precision TV charged me $135.00 , just to take alook at the TV.

He is correct, Parts are not available any more for this TV.
New TV is best option.
Itys the internal circuit board fault.as the tv is quite old it can be major damage.just get it checked.but if the whole board needs replacement.go for new tv instead of board replacement.as the tv is old some other problem will continue.
Unplug the tv from main power outlet for couple of hours and checkj out .it normally resets the tv if in standby mode.
Clean the main board using a blower, let see the results..
