WILL NOT TURN OVER, TOTALLY DEAD. A FEW LIGHTS FLASHING ON INSTRUMENT PANEL, INTERIOR LIGHT WEAK. NO NOTHING. HAVE JUST INSTALLED NEW BATTERY WITH NO RESULTS. PLEASE ADVISE. FIAT PANDA DIESEL MULTIJET (2006)
Are the battery terminals clean and are your battery leads not damaged in any way. Remove both battery cables and hold the terminals in boiling water for a while, make sure that there is no build-up of scale inside the terminals, then reinstall them, making sure that they seat properly and are tightened. (All your symptoms point to a weak battery or a poor connection).
