Will P4M80-M4 motherboard support dual channel memory?
I have added 2 gb (2 x 1gb) of dual channel memory, but when I run my benchmark program it shows only single channel memory. I am using the Kingston 2gb dual channel memory kit. Do I need to set a jumper pin to make this work?

This is an older board. The VIA chipset pre-dates dual channel memory support. If your board is working fine, this should not be a concern.
I've seen this problem more than once, rams are rated at 250(256mb), 500(512mb), 1000(1024mb), and 2000(2048mb), these motherboards are rated at 2000mb max, so anything over 2000, it doesn't recognize, it's said, "you can adjust the bios to make it fit, but it's not recomended, due to the fact you can mess up your computer." gig and a half would work, but then you have a slot with 1gig, and the other with half gig, so whats the solution. live with the 1000, and be happy
