Hi there thanks for asking, Press the Details button, and check to see if the problem was caused in the file PDM.dll. Alternately, Windows Explorer may crash with the following error
"Explorer caused an invalid page fault in PDM.DLL."
In both cases, the problem is caused by an out-of-date PDM.dll, which is the Process Debug Manager file.
According to Microsoft's Knowledgebase, the problem can be resolved by installing the appropriate updates. Update links for Office 2000, Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0, and Microsoft Script Debugger are available from the Microsoft Article. The Office XP updates are available atoffice.microsoft.com/downloads/2002/.
Another on this subject, specific to Visual Studio 6.0 is available
These instructions will NOT work if you are running either Windows Me or Windows 98. As a workaround for those versions of Windows, Microsoft recommends disabling script debugging. To disable script debugging:
Start Internet Explorer.
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
On the "Advanced" tab, click to select the "Disable Script Debugging" check box in the "Browsing" section.
its not explorer that displays the problem its says
cnc3game.dat has encountered a problem and needs to close.
its also says in the report as follows
this error includes information regarding the condition of cnc3game.dat when the problem occurred;the operating system version and computer hardware in use; your digital product ID, which could be used to identify your licence; and the internet protocol (IP) address of your computer.

I advise you to try playing the game on another computer only to see the results, if the game play well on the other computer this would mean the problem is associated with a file on your computer, but if you get the same error message it mean that the game is faulty. please let me know the results
