Windscreen replacement on a sure 87a
The original foam inside the screen of the 87a is worn out. Is there a problem using a generic windscreen replacement over the more expensive original?

Now let me get this straight...your $250.00 Shure condenser mic needs a new inner foam "pop" filter which runs around $3.00 (# 95A2428)

and you're not gonna buy one?!? Call Fullcompass and make sure that the part is an original Shure replacement part as "generic's" could change the frequency response.
