Report "WinDVD 8 was preinstalled on my laptop Acer with Vista and then it was accidentally uninstalled. I also have Windows Media and the CD's I played work fine but not DVD's. I reinstalled WinDVD and put in a movie. Media played it but no volume was coming out and meanwhile WinDVD was giving me error code saying I was missing a codec. I downloaded a codec hopefully it will work but now WinDVD won't work and keeps telling me that it can't open the program"
