Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection not working and the radio icon in the status area showing an 'x'. What is confusing is that with the radio seemingly off (or is it just stating there is no connection), that I can't use Windows to set up a Wi-Fi connection stating the radio needs to be turned off!!! Be grateful for any help and if manual available, would be prepared to pay for photocopying (if necessary) or ideally a PDF file
Wireless switch are usually located on the side or at the front for the laptop. You may try to disable and enable the wireless card by using hotkeys. Look for the F keys (F1,F2 and so on) there on your keyboard that has a picture of a signal or a tower that has a signal. Pres function key (Fn key) then press the F key that corresponds to the wireless. In my case, may laptop has wireles signal at F2. When i want to activate/deactivate my wireless card, i press Fn + F2 key.
Please let me know the result.
