Wiring on back of head unit
When changing speakers in a car (my case rear speakers of 2000 clio to JBL 6x9's) i have found out i need to change cables from back of head unit to some speaker cable and just connect to the speakers, this is ok but how do i change the green + green/black wires and the purple + purple and black wires? do i just cut them, strip them and solder the speaker wire to the stripped part? i dont really wanna ruin my head unit trying things out.i know what wires are to go where, its just how to connect the speaker wires...

You don't need to change the cables from the head unit on. Just strip of the end of the wires where the old speakers are and crimp on the proper connectors to connect them. Alternatively you can just solder the wires directly to the speakers. I always **** splice at least 6" of wires onto the end so you have more wire to work. The only reason you would change the wires would be because you are putting more than 200 watts per channel. You didn't speak of an amp so no worries.
