I looked at a Bernette 340 which seemed adequate for my purposes, but now I see Bernett 600's on sale on internet for very good bargains. Please tell me the difference and particulars on the 600. I am in my 70's so I do not want to invest too much

To be really Honest with you, I go with Bernette 340. I always believe that User Reviews are the best way to Determine the Quality and Reliability of the Product. I have Gone through reviews for Both the models and i was Surprised people love ton Purchase Bernette 340. There are Few Reasons that i Collected :-
1. Bernette 340 is Quite easy to use. However, Bernette 600 is Complex and needs a but of Pain to use.In other words, Bernette 340 has a simple interface means you won't be fighting your tools. Some people like that the free arm motion works well.
2. A few reviews regarding Bernette 340 find it to be a great machine at this price. Many seamsters love the included features and adjustments it offers.However, for Bernette 600 i have not gone through any of such feedback.
3. The built-in computer will prevent incorrect stitches, giving you great results every time. You'll love how easy the drop-in bobbin on the Bernette Deco 340 is to operate. This machine works well as an embroidery machine.
Your finished stitches will look great with both selectable normal and embroidery stitches. You will be able to sew pants and cuffs with the free arm motion on this machine.
Again, i do not anything such for Bernette 600.
