Is it the camera itself not working, or merely the software to download images to your computer ? If the latter, instead of waiting for a possibly non-existent driver, the easiest solution is to obtain a USB card reader, and merely put the memory card into that to read the data. The computer will (should !) treat it as merely another disk drive. A word of advice - set the write-protect to on before mounting it, just in case the OS tries to add data to it which is incompatible with the camera software.
