won't shut off
I was taking video and it just froze up. No on/off, stop, pause. Then it got really hot. I was at a concert, so I couldn't do anything but blow on it to cool it off. When we left, I put it in front of the AC to cool it down and it did shut off. I am afraid to turn it on because I don't want to lose the video of the concert. Can I save the video that is on it without screwing with it and risking the loss of my video?

I have this same problem. Still looking around for a solution as this will keep happening to you.
On mine, all videos (from honeymoon no less) that were saved are still there and fine. The one that crashed while you were recording is lost forever, it doesn't seem to "save" the file until you end recording the clip. Plug her in to a computer and manually browse to the folder and grab whatever clips you can, it worked for me 2/3 times. Be warned it will still sometimes crash and lock up while connected via USB, but 99% likely you'll recover everything on the ******.
