Single biggest culprit for this is bad gas (drain and replace)
fouled spark plug
clogged fuel line
fuel line rotted through
and more. Might be worth taking to your local small engine repair shop for a tune up.
Also, when I haven't used a tool in a long time, it sometimes worth reviewing the manual. If you need to be turning on the choke and forgot, or something along those lines... Also, the manual frequently has a troubleshooting guide in the back.
