I have the ti-84 plus. I was holding the "2nd" button and the middle of the up and down arrows at the same time. in the top right of my screen there was a countdown "5, 4, 3, 2, 1" and then it shut off. It's not the contrast because i have tried that. I took out the batteries and held "on" for ten seconds like the manual says to re-set then put the batteries back in. Ive hit every button. ive hit "on" "2nd" and "cancel" all at the same time. I have no idea what the problem is and if anyone has an idea it would be great. thank you
