No a fuse is like 50 cents , you can bring it to any TV shop in your area there is no limitations to where you have to bring the TV. Truetechs are not really well made as a matter of fact my mom had to replace here true tech because of a fried main board inside it was not worth fixing. I am not saying that is the case with yours but giving you a general idea.

ouch! not good at all that would tell you something right there that techs do not want the warranty hassels after the repair.
