Working on a stove Ge profile with a circuit board controlling bake element. Bake element not working. Element itself has correct ohms, so no problem...receiving 240 volts to the stove, but not to the element. Volt Testing the line to the element that is connected directly to the power block and pairing it to the power block's common reads 120 v. Testing the line to the element running from the circuit board and pairing it to power block's common reads 120 volts. But testing each of those lines together reads 0. I don't understand how i can get 120 on each leg but not 240 across each leg. The power block itself tests fine
If you have no power from the control board to the element then rplace the contro board because you are losing power some where on the board. this should solve your problems. have had this issue before with another model where most every thing checked out i replaced the board and everything was working just great.
