Works good when rv plugged in to AC LP or AC but even if runnin in LP and I remove the power cord shuts down and red x is on , wont try to start up
DC is good, unit has dc to back lights pump workd good.

If it's a refrigerator problem, I would look towards the rear circuit board first. It sounds to me like you probably have an issue with your inverter. The refrigerator operates on 12V DC, not AC. So when you unplug it, it should stay on and simply start working on the LP side of things. Try hooking the refrigerator up to an independent 12V battery. It should work perfectly fine when you unplug the unit from AC at that point. You most likely have something called AC ripple caused from a bad inverter.
