XT 600 suddenly dies
1986 Yamaha XT 600. i had bought the bike not running. i replaced the CDI and coil and now it starts but will only run for 10-15 minutes then will die. no sputtering as if its not getting fuel. it'll just cut out. it wont start again until you let it sit for 5 minutes or so. any thoughts as to what the problem could be?

Did you also change the pickup(pulse) coil part of the CDI system? A faulty one can stop sending the correct pulse when it warms up, an ohms test on the part won't always show the problem especially when engine is cold
