Yesterday when i was using it it started to make a really loud noise. reverse makes the normal noise but on auto it sounds bad. i cleaned out the inside but there is still paper stuck that i cant pull out. what do i do? do i need to clean out the blades? if so how do i do that?

It will not hurt to pour some lightweight shredder oil onto the cutting shafts....depending on how much you use the machine this should almost be part of a regular operation... I normally suggest to customers to pour the shredder oil onto a sheet of paper in an "S" pattern and then shred the sheet of paper....also shredders will work more reliably if you only shred about 70% of the rated capacity...less strain on the motor and parts and this results in fewer jams and longer machine life.
