And after I submitted my desription, and credit card information, the "CHAT" began, BUT then immediately terminated. Can you tell me what's going on? I am very confused. Perhaps you are reading the description of my problem, but I don't know. Can you please let me know.

You can let write to [email protected] and ask for a refund or not to be charge for the chat that could not be established.
The failure with your TV could be a power supply but in order to know that for sure, the voltages will need to be measured. This procedure will require you to open the back cover of the plasma and to know how to use a voltmeter.
This type of repair might not be a DIY because of the danger of electrical shock when working with high voltages.
