YPbPr and YCbCr signal
I am using an LG RDJT30 projector, which is connected to a Pioneer DVD player thru the component connector of Denon AVR 3805.
Recently, I bought the DVD of Wall-E and while watching, all of a sudden the screen would go blank (blue) and the “no signal” would display, and then the projector would skip either between YPbPr and YCbCr, after searching, the picture would return after some time, and then again, it would start all over again and then some section it would be all right and then go back to the same problem.
When I connected the same thru the composite RCA connection, then the movie would play all right. The DVD when played and connected thru HDMI input on my plasma, it worked fine.
I am wondering whether it is a problem with the:
1). DVD: Bad recording???
2). Denon 3805 : upscaling problem?
3). The Projector itself ?
Or the
4). Pioneer DVD player?
This has happened once or twice before also on some other DVDs.

With component, if there is not a solid signal, it'll go blue. if the dvd is dirty, the player is dirty, or any other break in signal, it'll go blue. clean your dvd and/or player.
