My Zalman M190 emits a rather high pitch buzzing sound and turns black after 2 seconds when it's turend one. Turning it on/off several (ranging from 1 to hundreds of times) usually helps. The buzzing stays for several minutes and it keeps the image then the buzzing fades and is gone.
