Zanussi FJS1225W won't spin

Please someone help. Our Zanussi FJS1225W is about 5 yrs old and has been working well, it will drain and programme, but won't spin. Someone said to change the motor brushes but I don't know where they are located?

Motor brushes can be replaced in situ but you will find it easier to remove the motor.
take the rear cabinet half off and undo electrical connections to motor. motor is held in by 4 bolts. undo and motor will slip out.
brushes are located towards the end away from the pulley and held in by 2 small bolts. undo, withdraw brushes and see if badly worn
easier way is to check continuity across the brushes with the motor in situ using a multimeter
