I recently changed my copiers toner (the change toner light came on) and now my copies are uneven (alternating in light and dark patterns). I properly shook the toner, I even returned the toner to get a new one, and the problem persists. I had even put the old toner back in and it worked fine (until the light came back on). What is wrong with my machine?

Okay, I got the printer fixed (AL-1642CS), bring it back to the office, and it won't print. Deleted the drivers, reboot, printer was recognized and drivers installed. Here's the weird part: I went to Properties for the printer, clicked on Print Test Page and a window pops up saying Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and will close. Then the printer window closes. I tried opening up a document. When I clicked on print I get "Windows can not print due to a problem with the current printer setup. Try one or more of the following: *Check the printer by printing a test page from Windows (we know what happens when I try that) *Make sure the printer is turned on and online. (It was) *Reinstall the printer driver." (Did that too). Any help? Suggestions? I'd like to try to get this solved before my boss calls another "professional" in and wastes money on someone to come in and duplicate what I've already tried

I have a Sharp AL 1642 CS. It prints black copies. It came out of no where so I know it isnt dust on the lens. Even after adjusting brightness settings it prints pitch black pages. The bulb on the scanner is on but it doesn't look as bright as it should

Toner everywhere I have toner all over the inside of the machine and under the machine. The drum and toner cartridge was changed about 2 months ago and we do not make a lot of copies in our office.
