flashes white all the time. Have replaced the capacitor for it did not start quite as it would before. Then I got this problem. and it looks like that all the capacitors seem to look very full out

I have a Samsung Syncmaster 2493HM monitor. The problem is it seems to work when it feels like. The monitor will stay blank when i start my computer up. The power light will flash quickly, to my understanding showing its not getting signal. I have tested my cable, video card both work well. I have tried "rebooting" the monitor as someone told me (leave unplugged for a few hours, i left it unplugged for a day) and it did not change. The only thing i have found that works is to leave the monitor on with no cable attached to it, until the screen decides to come on with the roaming box on the screen saying that no cables can be found. Then i can re plug my cable and use my monitor like normal. That isn't such a big deal if it were a short period of time, but before that box will appear it can take anywhere from 30 min to a day and a half. Any advice would be great

I CAN CONFIRM THAT IT WORKS replaced broken capacotor with 25v capacotor of the same sort and it worked like a charm. thanks for the info guys regards from the netherlands

I have the SAMSUNG SyncMaster 2493 HM. It used to auto rotate on it's own and now it doesn't. the "90°" square box shows up when i rotate the monitor vertically, however it does not change. Please help! I would be greatly appreciative! Notes: I have checked the driver. It's updated and "working properly". I also went into the settings and tried to correct the issue there but unfortunately got lost. Thank you! ~ Sincerely, Chad
