I am trying to convert a VHS tape to the digital video recorder. I have the cables plugged into the OUTput line on the VHS and the other end plugged into the AVin on the converter. When I first tried it, we were testing it, and it worked after a few minutes. We were able to watch it on the computer. Now the record light does not come on. The VHS is rewound. We pushed record first on the converter and then play on the VHS and it was successful, but now the light does not come on! Help! I even returned one and bought another because I thought it was broken!
