I have a 2006 Suzuki Verona with the code P0400. Ive replaced the EGR valve, cleared the code, and drove it. I got 23 miles the first go around and the code posted again. Cleared the code and checked for leaks around the EGR valve and found a leak. I applied red rtv to both sides of the gasket and allowed to cure for 48 hours. No more leaks around the EGR valve. Cleared the code and drove again. Made it just over 40 miles and the engine light came back on again. I have no other codes posting. The exhaust shows no signs of having a leak. I cannot see any carbon build up on either of the two aluminum lines coming from the egr valve. What should I do next? Is there more than just the two lines coming from the EGR Valve that can possibly be clogged?
