At this time every year I turn on my Fedders A7DH45B2A Dehumidifier in my finished basement. I turned it on the other day and it will not extract water. I have a humidity meter in one bedroom it is 67%. I have another meter in the main living area and it reads around 75%. I checked the filter and it was dirty and I cleaned it. This does not solve the problem. I read the soloution on the previous page and it says, refrigerant needs to be injected into the compressor. How does this refigerant escape? with the compressor losing refrigerant, is this a common problem? I'm disappointed that this happened. Isn't going to cost more than the dehumidifier's worth to have it serviced? Thanks, Bob
