4 charge up on the handle bar. All that was left was to get two new UB12350 batteries and thread the cables back through the battery box lids, put the rubber boots back on the cables, and put it all back together. When it was all back together, I turned on the key, sounded the wimpy horn, then before I could road test it again, everything went dead! I checked the state of charge of the new batteries-good (I used a load tester). I double checked all connections-good. still no power to anything. I pulled it all apart again and checked what I assumed was a breaker under the body shell, it wasn't tripped. I checked across it with an ohmmeter any way, it showed continuity. I can't think of anything else to check so I open the electronic controller up and its all solid state components except a relay. i remove and test the relay its good. I plug it back in. Now I'm so f---in' pissed I'm seeing red.I don't know what else to do. I confirm that I got 24v entering the electronic controller, there is, then I give up for the night. That was last week. Since then, I've run into the guy I got it from, and he tells me "Yeah, it used to cut out for no reason, then start working again after monkeying around with it. fearing he might get stranded sometime, he bought another chair. Is it possible the on board charger is disabling all the power? is there something I could disconnect on it if this is the case? I don't care if the chair would still be operational while charging, as long as I could get it operational again, period!
