I have a leaky faucet. I've shut the water off, removed the chrome cover over the control stem handle, but I'm stumped. How do you remove the brass fitting that holds the control assembly in place? I don't have a crescent wrench small enough to get under the handle to loosen the nut. At least that's how I thought I needed to fix it. There's some slotted hole on the side of the stem, but I can't see inside it to know if that has anything to with the problem. Any ideas?
