I have two White-Rodgers 1F80-24 thermostats that are about 15 years old. They work fine EXCEPT the two little buttons to raise and lower temperature are no longer working perfectly. I might need to push a button four or five times to raise the temperature 1 degree. Is there a way to clean the contact, or is it probably simply worn out? I know that the 1F80-24 is no longer manufactured and I couldn't find any on the internet. I want to find either the same thing, or something that is the same size or very slightly larger -- just because of waving to paint the walls if I use a smaller thermostat. Thank you for any tips
