I have williams floor heater model#4505622 which was installed April, 2010. It was working in Nov, but there was heavy rain that month. One day in Dec, 2010, it stopped working. The pilot is off. I called the gas company and he said maybe it's flooded underground and the water get in pilot pipe. He couldn't lit it up. My question is since there are openings to the underground, water will get in underground (we have raised fundation). Is there a box sealed or protect the pilot pipe? Does that mean after every heavy rain season I will call technitian fix the pilot? Should floor heater designed to be water proof?
