4 ton, 5.7 liter 350 c.i. 4 speed auto transmission, 259,000 miles, multiple owners, new rebuilt motor after 12 years sitting from a blown head gasket issue. Okay so here is the question, what could possibly cause my van to run perfectly normal until it gets to normal operating temperature on the dash the gauge will show normal temp and that's when the problem will start the problem is it just shuts off it can do this in the middle of an intersection it can do this while driving it 40 or 50 mph or 20 or 80 speed has no variance it only seems that temperature has a variance and when it happens like I said it runs great while it's cold when it gets to normal temp it just cuts the motor out and it takes it a little while to get it started back up sometimes sometimes it fires right back up but neither case after it does start there's a check engine light the code is for an IC control system problem I believe it was over voltage and other than that I've replaced the following crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, ignition coil, ignition control module, spark plugs, spark plug wire set, ecu, TPS, IAC, spider assembly fuel injectors, and of course various gaskets and seals for all the above mentioned parts anybody have any clue what could be causing this as I was sure it was an electrical issue obviously I replaced everything in the electrical system that I'm aware of I've also gone through the wiring and tested from end to end by ohms and resistance from every item I've replaced to the computer and to grounds and I found no problems in the wiring I did have a couple of connector pigtails that had broken tabs so those were replaced and tested for continuity and so forth and everything checks out fine the thing that stumps me here is the one engine code that comes up for the IC system high voltage what would cause this? The coil pack is attached to the ICM in this engine on the right hand side just above the valve cover and it was loose initially and I noticed a spark come off of it while the engine was running and then if I also moved it the engine would die and I thought that was the issue replace the bolts bolted it down still have the same problem if anyone can help I greatly appreciate it
