NorthStar IPG8000 Auto Idle works fine. Non-Idle is 62 Hz, fine. Voltage is **** - usually 60V both windings, sometimes 10V. Voltage actually goes UP on idle, All circuits measure good except Output. I do not know the proper Exciter field winding voltage. My guess is that this is controlled by the circuit board behind front panel, and that it is bad. Any thoughts?
