Working on my Price Pfister 048nk00. Faucet was manufactured in December of 04. Purchased and installed in summer of 05. Observation: Cold water side has developed a slow-drip leak. Removed handles from both sides. Hot water side is clean and looks almost new. Cold water side has all sorts of a black, moist, but a sandy consistency, type of deposit around the cartridge (it's not mold). Questions: What do you think this is? Can I solve the cold water leak by merely tightening down something, or is this a cartridge replacement issue? If a replacement is necessary, is there a site you can direct me to that has step-by-step instructions, or a site that has a manual with a series of illustrated steps? Thanks
